For my PhD I created a multimedia music show based on the poem The woman of Zakynthos by the national poet of Greece D. Solomos, exploring a new way of narrative through the combination of musical theatre, literature, video art and live electronics. This project was used in as a basis for a series of presentations and workshops in primary schools for students at KS2. I collaborated with teachers of other subjects (literature, fine arts and theatre) that I trained specifically for the needs of the project. The result was that their students and themselves were really excited and they got a new insight to the ways music could help them to enhance their teaching methods in an interdisciplinary way.
